Halloween Candy Review: What things to Eat Whenever you Cannot Refuse

 
'This is the growing season of candy, goodies and massive family meals. What starts the cascade of holiday festivities, but our childhood favorite...Halloween! Halloween is one of those holidays that regardless of age I have to admit I am looking forward to. Really, what is cooler than free candy?

So, let's not pretend here. We have often seen the healthiest of healthy people grab a mini snickers in the office Halloween candy bowl. Most people have almost certainly completed it. I'll be honest, I am a wellness professional and i also eat candy. However, my concept of candy might differ somewhat from the norm. When I eat a sweet I try difficult to eat ones that in certain shape or form possess some positive health improvements. However, work candy bowl may not offer 70% dark chocolate squares. So, knowing you will be tempted, what are the "best" alternatives to choose from? Here are some of my head to tips as I struggle through the candy bowl:

Size doesn't mean fewer calories. Have a Butterfinger as an example. A "fun size" Butterfinger has 100 calories! Compare that to some "fun size" 3 Musketeers that just packs 63 calories.

Fruity candy may be deceiving. Whilst it could be "fat free", it is usually filled up with plenty of artificial colors and flavors. Generally there's no way surrounding this unless you can get the hand on some of the more natural or organic candy brands like YummyEarth. Actually, you'd be more satisfied with one "fun size" candy bar vs. 5 handfulls of sugary candy. Think about this: Starburst has 204 calories and 4 grams of fat for 10 pieces! AND Starbursts are probably the only fruit candies that really contain fat!

Simple is usually a good sign. Have a York Peppermint Pattie for instance. One FULL, BIG Pattie is only 140 calories and two grams of fat. werbung schokolade Compare that to any FULL size candy and you usually have the Pattie since your winner! Whenever you consider the ingredients in a York their email list is brief. Much like we've heard with any food, the less ingredients the thing is (and hopefully words you realize) often times the better!

Special versions are often bigger, heftier versions with the original. Go ahead and take Reese's pumpkin vs. the normal Reese's peanut butter cup. The peanut butter pumpkin is a whopping 170 calories when compared to normal 105 calories of the standard cup. Can it really should look like a pumpkin to taste good?

Try candies that last. A lollipop is usually a good choice. Normally reduced calories, you can keep the flavor and delight lasting minutes!
